1st aid refreshed | Factory tour Recycling by EbiMIK

First aid and refresher training was the focus of the Timbatec Autumn Team Day. Competence in first aid skills can make all the difference in an emergency and save lives.

A big thank you goes to the competent teams and course leaders from Sanio AG for running the group courses. Practical exercises to apply theoretical knowledge, chest compressions on the resuscitation dummy and operating a defibrillator gave the course participants confidence in emergency situations.

All the groups met for lunch together in the canteen of the Zurich Technical Vocational School.

The visit to Eberhard Unternehmungen in the afternoon showed us very directly what role recycling plays in the construction industry today and how much potential there is in well-organized processes. The tour of the EbiMIK site gave us a clear insight into how construction waste is separated, processed and reintroduced into the cycle. A big thank you to the teams from Eberhard Unternehmungen for the open tour and the exciting insights.

We ended the day in the Riithalle restaurant [www.riithalle.ch] in Zurich, together with our partners, many good conversations and a dedicated gastronomic culture: fine food, relaxed atmosphere - just the right thing after a full program.
