Renovation and new construction of school building 


2017, Villars-sur-Glâne

 In Villars-sûr-Glâne, two school buildings were renovated and the gymnasium and the wooden connecting wing were rebuilt - while the school was running. For everyone involved, this meant planning the work very carefully.

 

School Complex Chrüzacher 


2017, Bassersdorf

 At the initiative of Timbatec, the new school complex in Bassersdorf produced even more timber than planned. Originally, only the walls of the gym were to be made of timber, but the roof of concrete. Timbatec also proposed to build the roof in timber construction in order to save costs.

 

Multipurpose Hall 


2015, Lenk

 A modern multi-purpose hall was built in Lenk BE to replace an old gymnasium. The roof of the hall and its supporting structure are made of timber. The construction does not only have to withstand high snow loads, but also the forces that result when the sports equipment attached to the construction is used.

 

Gymnasium 


2014, Bösingen FR

 On behalf of the municipality of Bösingen, Timbatec AG carried out an expertise on the roof of the gym. It was found that the load-bearing safety of the structure was no longer guaranteed.

 

New indoor swimming pool 


2007, Frutigen

 The indoor swimming pool in Frutigen was destroyed by fire in 2006. The demolition of the supporting structure made room for a new indoor swimming pool. In order to design a contemporary indoor swimming pool, the builder invited to an architectural competition.

  • New School Complex , Trachslau

    So that the pupils and the Kingergarten children of Trachslau do not have to make the journey to Einsiedeln every day, the school building with a gymnasium and a double kindergarten were built entirely in wood.

  • Reconstruction Gymnasium, Bure

    The old metal structure was reinforced by Buchs et Plumey SA. Timbatec was responsible for the constructive details and dimensioning of the roof and the building envelope. Likewise, Timbatec controlled the thermal bridges and surface condensation risks.

  • Renovation and extension of sports centre, Gstaad

    Gstaad has made its sports centre fit for the future. In addition to the construction of a wellness area and the wooden supporting structure of the indoor swimming pool was comprehensively renovated. Timbatec analysed its condition and defined the renovation measures.

  • Refurbishment of the Märchenhotel Indoor Swimming Pool, Braunwald

    As part of a roof structure renovation in the attached indoor swimming pool of the Märchenhotel Bellevue in Braunwald, it was necessary to find an aesthetic solution for (originally) oversized beams. The solution was presented in the form of a steel undervoltage made of authentic chrome steel.

  • Renovation Indoor Swimming Pool, Burgdorf

    During the inspection of a steel beam, cracks were detected in the adjacent timber beams. No good conditions for a well-attended indoor swimming pool! But Timbatec had the solution.

  • Multipurpose Hall Preisegg, Hasle bei Burgdorf

    The multipurpose hall is located directly next to the school complex Preisegg, in rural surroundings. Due to the good cooperation on the "Eishalle Brünnli" project, the engineers C+S from Hasle and Timbatec from Thun were again commissioned.

  • New Building Sports Hall Auenfeld, Frauenfeld

    According to the initial plans, the roof structure of the triple gymnasium was to be constructed as a shed roof with six large sheds in steel construction. After other structural variants, also in timber, had been thoroughly tested, the client opted for a flat roof in timber construction.


  • New Roofing for the Brünnli Ice Rink, Hasle b. Burgdorf

    A roofing for the previously open ice rink had to be erected above the existing civil defense system. The construction lines left little scope for the design of the roof shape. Not only in the floor plan, but also in the section boundaries had to be kept.

  • New building Sports Hall Ebnit, Gstaad-Saanen

    The project, a triple gymnasium with combined steel and timber frameworks, was the result of an architectural competition in 2002. With the shed roof facing south, it is possible to use the solar energy directly and passively.
