Simmental Arena on TV

The multifunctional hall was opened in March and, in addition to its function as a fire station, also serves as an event hall for markets, livestock shows and sporting events. Timbatec was responsible for the structural design and the statics of the 80 x 30 meter wooden structure, which can accommodate 2000 people. The hall is free of columns, the roof is supported by large arched trusses. 2000 m³ of Swiss wood were used for the construction.
