Construction site aperitif in the highest TS3 building

The first four-story column-and-slab structure made of wood was built in Frenkendorf. Thanks to TS3 technology, the building once planned in concrete can be built in wood. We invite you on 08.07.2021 to the construction site tour, TS3 show pouring and aperitif.
Wood instead of concrete - quite simply. This principle was confirmed during the planning and construction of the Fasanenhof apartment building in Frenkendorf. The four-storey building with 15 apartments was first planned in concrete, then the building owners let Scherer Architekten AG convince them of the advantages of timber construction and TS3. With success! Fasanenhof is the largest and highest TS3 project built to date.

The TS3 technology
The TS3 technology is the result of more than ten years of research and development of Timbatec Holzbauingenieure Schweiz AG together with the ETH Zurich and the Bern University of Applied Sciences in Biel. The technologies are patent pending in the EU and the USA and have been and have a basis in the newly founded Timber Structures 3.0 AG. a basis. The new process joins wooden components by joint grouting and without pressing with each other on the face side. Together with the specially developed TS3 makes it possible to build large wooden surfaces without the usual conventional beams. These large surfaces are suitable for floor slabs in all types of large all types of large buildings and can replace replace reinforced concrete in most areas.

Protection concept
The specifications of the FOPH will be observed during the entire event, therefore the following rules apply:
- Masks are compulsory on the entire area
- The distance of 1.5 m must be observed
- Disinfectant is available at the entrances
- In case of symptoms please stay at home
Parking facilities
The construction site is located at Fasanenstrasse 7 in 4402 Frenkendorf. The parking spaces are located at the Egg school building. Please use the rear parking lot only.
